Jake Hurwitz is an American comedian, actor and also a writer. He is also known by his real names as Jacob Penn Cooper Hurwitz. As a comedian, he is popular through his comedy duo, Jake and Amir, which they formed in 2006. He was part of CollegeHumor and later appearing in their show aired in MTV. He has also taken part in several other works, such as the BFF series. Together with Amir, they have done several videos, including Lonely and Horny, If I Were You and HeadGum.

In 2009 he became a cast member of the CollegeHumor Show. Still, in 2009 he got a chance to join the BFF show when it was on its second season, which he described as a dating game for friends. While still doing this show, he got a chance to make the Jake and Amir Video.
